To heal. Shared consciousness, compassion, love, grief, joy, pain, and peace are my content. Portraiture is my stage, whether it's a person, the sky, or the ocean. Freedom and release of outcomes of color and line open the channels through which the spirit becomes visual to offer an exploration that is expressed. The universe and the collectiveness of energy drive my art. 

 

Since childhood, I have studied the nuances of humanity, discerning people and the world around me, feeling energy, and absorbing it into my being; the soul, consciousness of ourselves, and connectivity to each other, the universe is where I begin. My art describes our transparency, to create a visual inter-connectivity of humanity. What we see with our eyes is just the beginning; the identity of a person or place is more than having a name or the limitations of our eyes. Seeing isn't believing. As I ventured towards my own death after heart surgery, I connected with the magic of our oneness. Returning to my body from the most profound love that I have ever felt offered me a glimmer of our essence.

 

I grew up in South Pasadena, California. I worked in a graphic design studio before attending the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. I studied Advertising; eventually, I found my destiny, the Fine Art and Painting Department.
